Este año, en 1306,

Robert the Bruce

asesinó a su rival John Comyn en una iglesia, 

y se convirtió en el Rey de los escoceses.

 Ante una crisis financiera, 

Felipe IV (La Feria) de Francia  

expulsó al pueblo judío de Francia y confiscó sus propiedades.
